LUNATIC PRODUCTIONS Interviews - Unbroken Loathe

LUNATIC: How did the band come up with the name?

UL:Well Jessie(lead guitar) and our Ex bassist were in class their senior year of high school trying to think of a cool name for a band because their teacher had a home recording studio and they had the idea of creating a band and recording with him. Now "Unbroken" was always part of the name but then suddenly Loathe, clicked in Jes head and BADA BING, BADA BANG; there you have it = "Unbroken Loathe". Now, i think as a couple years have gone past, that the name has grown on us more and now has more of a personal meaning. Through our music, we express our undying hatred for the things of this world that plague us, in our personal expiereinces and things like that.

LUNATIC: For those who have yet to hear you alls music - how would you all describe it?

UL:Slipknot,Pantera,NothingFace and Machine Head; or if you ever had a coat hangar abortion failed birth! Yes that would be us; Seriously, these are some of the bands that have influenced us the most and we think if you like any of these band you might be into us.

LUNATIC: Ok, fair enough. This local music scene is going thru some changes; what do you see good and what is the bad?

UL: The good thing that we have seen is that the scene is growing and there is more of a variety of bands now. The bad thing we see is there is so much separation between these sub genres of heavy music; in our opinion heavy music is heavy music; we will play with any band of any type, any day. There needs to be more of a brotherhood amongst all the bands here in the Valley. A BROTHER HOOD OF METAL!

LUNATIC: That is very true. Does the band have anything available as a download or can some purchase a demo somewhere?

UL:Well we are working on getting the album out to everyone before the end of March. We are also planning a cd release show so keep an eye out for that!

LUNATIC: Ok - cool . Any crazy stories the band has expierenced?

UL: This one time we were at practice in La Feria and its an open barn so you can hear us a fucking mile away. This dude walked into our jam space breathing all hard like he had just ran two miles and seemed all freaked out. We asked him where he came from and he had said that his car broke down and he heard the music near by so he decided to stop by and see if he can use the phone. Well some time passed by and the dude called his chick from Mcallen to come pick him up. He told us what had happend to him after all. Turns out this dudes car broke down and he had alot of cocaine in his car. A cop stopped to see what was going on and this dude took off running and had hauled ass through a couple of fields. So yea, the dude was hiding out with us from the cops.

LUNATIC: Damn; talk about unwelcomed conspriacy. What are the bands future plans?.........

UL: We hope to do a small summer Texas tour this year, and play as many big shows as possible! Oh,and finally find a permanent guitarist! So if your interested hit us up on the myspace! (link is below.)

LUNATIC: Ok, well any last shout outs, props, or fuck yous?
