LUNATIC: So as always guys; welcome. The first question always deals with the bands name. Can you explain why the name, "Solarium"?

SOLARIUM: We chose the name because we wanted to be unique. We wanted to stray away from the cliche of bands made up from three words. A Solarium is basically a room lit by sunlight. They are sometimes found in certain hospitals used by patients who need treatment from sunlight. We wanted to use it as a metaphor, being that we are the sunroom (Solarium) and are listeners are the patients who need the treatment.

LUNATIC: So, what the hell have you guys been up to lately?

SOLARIUM: JACK SQUAT!! *laughs* We've just been writing new stuff, trying to get back in the scene. We've just recently lost one of our members, so we needed to reconnect as a four piece, as we intially started back in early 04.' Its going to be a bit of a challenge playing our new stuff while having a second guitar absent, but i think we can pull through.

LUNATIC: Ok, we know that you have your first demo that you guys recorded back when you first started in 2004? We just uploaded a preview of you alls next demo , the song "Self Inflicted", to the website's mp3. Hows the progress on the new cd, and when can we expect it?

SOLARIUM: Its progressing. We've all been booked with school and work, so we try to work around our busy schedules. But with all in do time, it'll be done, we'll keep you posted.

LUNATIC: What are you guys doing different this time then the last?

SOLARIUM: We try to fluctuate with our music. These days a lot of bands sound the same. We try to mix and match with our music. We try experimenting with guitar harmonies, more peddaling on the drums and more singing with the vocals. We as a band never want to be boxed in musically, we don't want to have any restrictions with what we can do with our music.

LUNATIC: Being that there's always obstacles like, lineup changes, girlfriends, drugs, sex, friends, parties, shows, school, work, and all of what life is about being in a band; what has kept this band together and focused?

SOLARIUM: The passion for playing music.

LUNATIC: Some bands tend to have their share of egos; how does Solarium as a band, deal with the ins and outs of this. Speaking on the inside, as a member of the band, and on the outside, as other bands that Solarium has shared gigs with and so on.........

SOLARIUM: Well, i think its important to have self confidence, but i think it's also imperative that you don't let your head swell up into the size of a hot air balloon!

LUNATIC: If there was one thing you all could change about the valley music scene, what would it be?

SOLARIUM: I wouldnt want to change the music scence, I would just want it to be acknowledged.

LUNATIC: Any last shout outs, fuck yous, thank yous, fuck you very muchs, props, hook it up, requests, mochates, or last minute words you all would like to add?

SOLARIUM: It's safe to say we're ready to tear you a new asshole............................with no KY jelly!
