LUNATIC PRODUCTIONS Band Bios - Ninth Kingdom - by : Amanda Ninth Kingdom Ninth Kingdom was formally called Abaddon in September of 1998, with Amblividon and co-founder Jamey (Asmodeus) Wooten; but as far as with drummer (2001). As of now the permanent members are Amblividon (guitars), Pope N.I., (drums) The Somberlian (Vocals and bass); session musician: Metal Einhejar, (second guitars). Evil entities are infinite and cannot be constricted by a limit in time. Ninth Kingdom is an extreme metal band that likes aggression, melody, classical motifs, black metal overtone and any sort of evil atmospheres, laced with blasphemy. Ninth Kingdom felt very strongly about “Abaddon” they felt it fit the bands vision. The only down side was that there are dozens of other bands out there who are named “Abaddon”. They felt that they should stand out from the rest. So they needed another name but with significant meaning to their beliefs, ideals and vision. Even though they didn’t want to change the name "Abaddon" it worked out for the best. They all think that Ninth Kingdom suits them better. Amblividon shares, “The valley scene is extremely brutal! A great representation Texas has to offer extreme metal fans.” Ninth Kingdom has some material in the works, but as far as hearing it live “The Dawning” is the newest. Their demo will be out soon, these songs that will be on it: “Demon Born”, “Rape of Paradise,” “The Last Judgment”. So for a lot of people this will be new, as is the lyrics to “The Last Judgment” which will give the song a whole new vibe. “Monkue A Na Koriz!” It represents “To sacrifice is to gain” we have sacrificed a lot to make this band happen, for now, the gain is the result of our collaborations and the final product (the music) is our gain,” shares Amblivion. Amblividon would like to do a power metal band in the likes of Epica, Nightwish, Hammerfall meets Emperor but who knows. As of right now Ninth Kingdom are fully focused on the band.
